Swedish military pistol. The bore is excellent with bright, strong rifling. The gun has about 97% bright blue. The right side of the frame is unit marked Rplt. S 5384. There is a small import mark on the left side of the frame below the serial number. The excellent plastic grips have a Swedish crown on them. The action functions correctly. Model 40 production ended in 1946. This is a great example of the Lahti Model 40.
