Antique Colt 1851 Navy USN Martially marked with all matching numbers. Serial numbers stamped in 8 different places on this gun. Very clear markings show the U.S. under the Colts Patent. Sharp U.S.N. markings on the iron grip strap. Very rare early Colt .36 revolver with the iron straps and small rounded trigger guard. Certainly used during the Civil War years. Very good condition revolver that had its barrel shortened to 5 1/2" years ago. Nice even patina. Manufactured in 1856. Functions well with a tight lock up. Very good bore. Extremely tight gun overall. Rare collectible Colt. $50 insured shipping.
