Comes with 6x24x50 MIL 1" DUAL ILLUM Scope with H rings (Zero'd), 550+ rounds of new 25 grain WSM ammunition (must be shipped separately), 3 magazines, leather sling, Elevated cheek & ammo rest, and padded scoped rifle case.

It's my opinion that the SAVAGE .17 WSM is a precise high velocity rifle for varmint hunting and for Law Enforcement S.W.A.T. sniper teams and Patrol Officers in general. In these times of Law Enforcement loses we cannot afford to send 5-10-20 Police Vehicles and personnel to a “Man with a gun call”.
If properly equipped and trained this rifle, versus a $13,000 sniper pkg. for specific Police groups who are delayed in responding, would allow for the Beat Officer to extinguish a serious deadly threat readily.
All Sniper activity is contained within a 50 yard area and a flat trajectory bullet at 3000+ FPS in this scenario would not be deflected through glass and would be instantly effective in a head or heart shot.
If you have ever had to roll out on the aforementioned situation and dress up in pounds and pounds of restrictive gear and run around in it or sit or stand in it for hours, you know what I mean.
My motto has always been “Be equipped, get there quick, assess and take action” The problem with my solution is that it requires no ego, no Hollywood Wyatt Earp behavior, excellent judgement and skill.
