Here's a great WW2 Relic ! Jap Arisaka Type 99. The soldier that brought this back from WW2 while engaged in a shootout in Saipan with the enemy he shot and killed this Japanese soldier after a heavy return of fire. Captured the gun from shot soldier. Apparently one of his bullets struck the rear stock and took a chunk out of it . The American Soldier was also wounded in this battle . Returned home with a trophy . Gun was purchased from his estate. We don't have any documentation. Just family word of mouth . Gun is in very good original condition. Bore and mechanics are Excellent.excellent working condition. All Numbers match on all parts . Most all its original finish still remaining. Wood is in very good condition with some wood missing on top of rear stock and side. Gun has original wings on rear sight . Gun als has original bi pod . Gun also had jap writing on barrel .
