Description:
The 27-5/8 inch barrels are chambered 2-3/4 inch with Cylinder & Modified chokes and have bright fine bores. Barrels retain about 80% of a nice quality period re-blue showing some thinning and scattered light handling marks. Action shows generous case hardening colors in protected areas with balance fading to a pleasant silvery patina, quite vibrant along the upper tang and trigger plate. Triggerguard shows thinning re-blue toning to plum. The action is embellished with simple filigree scrollwork engraving throughout. Checkered round knob pistolgrip walnut buttstock and forend remain in good condition as lightly cleaned and refinished showing some wear with scattered handling marks and a tight crack at the upper tang. Features European-style left-side cheekpiece, robust ejectors and sling swivels.
