This 7.65mm (32ACP) Ortgies pistol is in much better condition than those normally encountered. The 3.25"" barrel has an excellent bore with bright  strong rifling. The overall gun retains approx. 96% blue wtih the grip straps starting to turn. The slide is marked DEUTSCHE WERKE AKTIENGESELLSCHAFT WERKE ERFURT over ORTGIES PATENT. The barrel, frame, and slide have the German crown over N proof mark. The excellent smooth wood grips have the round stylized D at the top. The correct 7.65mm magazine is present. The action functions correctly. This is the nicest Ortgies pistol we have seen in years.
