#B4379, George Gibbs  450 400 NE 3 ¼”
Made in the 1930's  with the “39 Corn Street ,  Bristol “ address  , a Gibbs rifle on a Webley  action.  26” barrels with shoe lump, extractor,  .410” bores in very good plus condition , shiny chambers and proofed for 60 gr of cordite / 400 gr bullet.  Express sight with one standing and two folding, silver front bead with a flip up moon sight.  Webley action with screw grip third fastener and dolls head,  interceptor sears, manual safety , tight on face. 80% coverage of tight scroll engraving, blacked receiver.   Rifle weight is 10 Lbs. 4 Oz. The rifle has been nicely restocked front and aft. LOP is 15”  over a ¾” Silvers Pad. Drop is standard with 1 ½” and 2 ½” . It is a left hand stock with about 3/8” cast on . The wood being new, I see absolutely no problem bending it to a cast off configuration.  The forend has a lever type release. The overall condition of the rifle is very good condition,  Barrels have been reblacked and are in 95% condition , new stock has a few marks and remains also in 95% condition , checkering is 99%. A solid piece.
