Early M1 Garand rifle made in 1941, serial number 242434. Barrel is marked 3-41. The bore is dark with strong rifling. The metal has mostly patina with some finish left on the receiver. The op rod has not been modified and has the short fork follower. Has lock bar sight and single slot gas plug. The buttstock has been lightly sanded. Overall good condition with early features.
