Purchased this beautiful Colt Python in 1971. It is in pristine working condition.
I have had it stored in my humidity controlled safe..
This Colt Python has a blued 4” barrel with a ventilated rib with a full-length under lug and an adjustable rear sight for elevation and windage.
The barrel bore is excellent with strong rifling
The trigger is grooved and the hammer spur is wide and knurled.
Grips are grain matched Walnut with gold medallion and bordered checkering and in excellent condition.
This revolver does have some blueing issues behind the hammer, along the outside grip frame and on one outside cylinder from holster wear but it does not take away from the integrity of the weapon.
The action is smooth and positive.
Caliber is .357 Magnum
A wooden Colt case along with my original letter from Colt included.
