Description:
This is a Colt R6721 with a serial number over 1800 numbers past the commonly accepted cutoff number for a preban R6721 of BD000134, yet it carries no restriction roll mark. The 2-letter prefix of BD, along with the 3rd generation collapsible stock and 6-hole handguard, all seem to indicate that the carbine is of preban manufacture, since most of the later ban period A3s were built with a Generation 4 collapsible stock, carried the serial number prefix of LBD, and had a roll mark restriction to use by law enforcement and government. Colt had a similar thing happen with the R6520 models that resulted in a recall of the unrollmarked carbines that likely not many folks turned in. I know of no such recall for the R6721s, but if there was one, I'd like to have a copy of it. Anyway, the carbine is in very good used conditon with the customary "life in the safe" and useage marks present. The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. The carbine ships with one PMAG and one Colt magazine (not shown in photos.) Please view the photos as they are an integral part of the description. FFL required. A three day inspection and return privilege is offered, beginning with the day the carbine is delivered to buyer's FFL, provided that it is returned, unfired, in the exact condition it was shipped in.
