Stevens Arms military prototype, Springfield 87 M rifle in 22 lr. 24" barrel with M1 Garand style stock! From our research only 300 rifles like these were made in the 40's as a military prototype training rifle hoping that the military would purchase them. They did not so the manufacturing of these rifles was dropped. This one is marked #12 of 300. It's missing the front band (please see pics).
