WINCHESTER MODEL 61, OCTAGON BARREL, 22 SHORT ONLY, 24" BARREL WITH VERY GOOD BRIGHT BLUE, MIRROR PERFECT BORE, STANDARD FRONT AND REAR SIGHTS. FACTORY DRILLED AND TAPPED FOR A TANG PEEP SIGHT. FRAME AND TRIGGERGUARD HAVE VERY BOOD BRIGHT BLUE WITH VERY LIGHT EDGE WEAR.
PISTOL GRIP STOCK, RIBBED FOREARM, EXCELLENT WOOD WITH VERY MINOR HANDLING MARKS. CHECKERED STEEL BUTTPLATE, MADE IN OCTOBER 1932, THE FIRST YEAR OF PRODUCTION. NICE ORIGINAL EARLY GUN. SHORT ONLY IS A VERY DESIRABLE VARIATION.
