Scarce Thompson Center TCR-83 Aristocrat 2 barrel set. This Aristocrat features a 23" .22-250 Remington barrel, a 23" 30-06 Springfield barrel, gloss blue finish, stainless steel double set triggers, and checkered walnut forend and stock with cheekpiece. Introduced in 1983, The TCR-83 Aristocrat was Thompson Center's top of the line single shot rifle and was available in a variety of different calibers. The Aristocrat had a brief production life and was ultimately discontinued in 1986. This particular TCR-83 is in excellent overall condition and shows very little signs of wear or handling. Both barrels retain 98% of their gloss blue finish and only show extremely light amounts of wear around their muzzle. The checkered walnut stock and forend are in excellent condition and show no signs of cracking or chipping. Both the stock and forend have light handling marks and the stock has one small dent on the left side near the triggers. The checkering on both the stock and forend is still sharp and shows no signs of dents or dings. Both barrels have beatiful bores with bright and sharp rifling. The double set triggers work flawlessly, and the action has an absolutely positive lock up. The .22-250 Remington barrel is topped with a Weaver K12-1 scope that is mounted in Leupold bases and rings, and the .30-06 barrel is topped with a Buehler scope mount and rings. The Weaver K12-1 is extremely clear and the turrets and parallax adjustments work as they should. Both scope mounts and rings do show signs of wear and slight discoloration from surface rust. Sorry no box or paperwork with this rifle.
