Made in 1935, 25 ¼” barrels chopper lumps Krupp steel. Extractor, factory claw bases, 1 standing 1 folding leaves rear sight, very good bores and chambers. Blacking is 70% original condition with wear, scratching and small dings (no pitting) typical of a rifle being hunted for the last 90 years. Rabbit ears action with rebounding hammers, double set triggers and Greener third fastener. Breeches and bolting are tight, scroll engraving with 50% coverage, 15% original case hardening colors. Weight is 6 Lbs. 15oz without the Leupold 1.5-5 scope, 7 Lbs. 11 oz with it. Fairly pronounced German cheek piece, round knob pistol grip and 14 ¼” LOP over a 3/8” horn butt plate with some moths “excavations”. Just shot it with S&Bellot 193 gr and got a 2” group at 60 yards, left at 11 o’clock from right.
A cute little rifle in a market dominated by large bore.
