33 inch barrel with 7 groove rifling. Blade front sight and 2- leaf rear 33 inch barrel with 7 groove rifling. Blade front sight and 2 leaf rear sight. Barrel and lock are dated 1863 and has the American Eagle over "US" followed by "REMINGTON'S / ILION N.Y." Brass patch box, buttplate, trigger guard, barrel bands and nose cap.Tulip tipped ramrod. Stock has been sanded and refinished with 2 cartouches visible on the left side. These were important rifles of the Civil War era.
