A beautiful two piece English Walnut blank that would be perfect for a high grade shotgun or rifle. Dense and very solid, it has excellent grain lay out with black and dark brown mineral lines. This blank will take and hold very fine line checkering. The stock is shown with only a light coating of paste wax. It was cut in the early 1990's and has been stored properly in So. Calif. It is now in Arizona so the 12% moisture content will not increase any. This will make a superb shotgun or rifle stock for your high grade gun.
