James Purdey & Son, 12ga. 32" Whitworth Barrels. 
London proof, 1 1/2 ounce, 3" magnum choke 65%, 75% left.
Purdey records indicate it was made in 1930 for a B.L. Duke, and his monogram is on the top lever they also confirm that it was sent to Boss for a single trigger during the construction of the gun.
Side clip, third fastener with factory lettered ventilated rib, Rose & Scroll engraved with the best execution imaginable highest qualities. It is between the war guns from 1930 the height of manufacturing these guns.
With just superb engraving, the gun remains unfired. It is new still wrapped up, perfect barrel walls.
The stock measure is 15 1/8 LOP with the slight cast on 1 1/2" x 2" drop at the heel. Bore diameters are a perfect 729 this is as close and new to a prewar gun that you will ever find if you are looking for the best here it is at a fraction of the cost of a gun like this and a small percentage of what it would cost today.
