Sale pending!!! #28829 Krieghoff drilling 16x16x 9.3x72 Ejector .
WW1 era top of the line drilling with ejectors for the shot barrels, unfortunately cut to 24 1/4”, leaving it with cylinder chokes. All bores and chambers are shiny, the 16 ga measures .670” with .035” walls. Claw bases, automatic rear sight, gold dealer markings and breech borders good soldering and blacking. Action has side clips, Greener third fastener , one set trigger , cocking indicators . It is 90% covered with really high quality scroll and game scenes engraving. The horn trigger guard has been repaired where it is attached to the trigger plate. Action is tight, nice trigger pulls and ejectors timed. LOP is 14 1/8” over a ¼” horn plate , nice grip cap made of Horn with a steel medallion , fully engraved cartridge trap with automatic trapdoor . Drop is 1 5/8” and 2 7/8” cast off is 3/8”, weight is 7 Lbs. 4oz . I sure hope that whoever cut these tubes had a really good excuse… So now two choices: the gun is used on quail or grouse as is. I patterned it and it will serve that purpose well. Or it can go to Brilley’s for a set of screwing chokes.
