The Smith & Wesson Model 629 .44Magnum was introduced in 1979. With its stainless steel construction and large N frame size it was an instant hit with hunters and outdoor sportsman. Like the Model 29 44 Magnum it features a fully shrouded ejector rod. This 629-3 features: a 6 inch barreled, white outlined adjustable rear sight, blade front sight with red insert for quick target acquisition, a smooth trigger and Goncalo Alves target grips with speed loader cutout. It is a great revolver for personal defense and big game hunting. Manufactured 1993 .44 Remington Magnum
