Yes the 4th manufactured Lucius Pond Front Loading Seperate Chambered Revolver. 32 Rimfire with the rarer 5" barrel length. Matching serial number 4 on frame, barrel, and cylinder. Very early Pond that was definitely used in the Civil War. The Pond's unusual feature of the front loading cylinder utilizing removable individual steel chambers was an attempt to circumvent the Rollin White patent under control of Smith & Wesson (Flayderman). Action cycles very nicely. Barrel address is weak but readable. All six steel chambers are present. Grips are in fair condition, left grip has tiny crack (see pic).
