Description:
Standard 24 inch octagon barrel with full length mag tube. 44-40 caliber with a crescent rifle style buttplate. German silver blade front with a blank in the rear slot. An early thick base tang sight. Nice shiny bore with a fairly crisp action should make this a fine shooter. Barrel has nice sharp corners and markings. Metal surfaces are mostly a plum/brown with traces of blue showing through in areas. Wood is good fitting and has just a few minor handling mars. Complete with cleaning rods in the butt.
