Description:
The heavy octagonal barrel has a fine etched twist damascus pattern with silver inlaid panels. A very fancy elaborate gun. Express sight of one standing and two folding leaves. 18 bore. Back action lock. Behind the hammer is signed “W.F. MILLS, MAKER, 120 HIGH HOLBORN, LONDON” on a ribbon. Walnut stock with checkered grip, inset with a small silver escutcheon at the wrist engraved with a crest, and with four silver barrel bolt escutcheons.Stock has been nicely refinished. Not sanded or undersized. Engraved on buttplate, back of the breech and trigger guard. Mechanics are very good. A beautiful well done gun!
