Description:
TEXAS SHIPPED Colt SAA single action shipped in 1924. Beautiful high condition gun in nickel with beautiful pearl grips. Action and bore are great. This Texas shipped gun has a story. Originally shipped to Wolf & Klar as a 38-40 blue gun. Either Wolf & Klar sent this gun back or the new owner as it went back to Colt for a factory nickel and caliber upgrade to.45 caliber. The gun has both the Colt ampere stamp as well as individual typical assembly numbers on gun parts that was done by Colt. Factory nickeled and probably had the pearl grips put on then. This gun was used and carried but well cared for.
The gun has perfect color with just enough wear to mellow the nickel finish. Small bit of holster rub on left tip of barrel and one small ding in top of the pearl grips. Overall a fine gun. There is a small unidentified stamp on the back straps that may be a brand. I can email photos of that is requested.
