The Savage Arms Model 110 was initially introduced in 1958 in .270 Win. and .30-06 Springfield. The first advertisement of there new short action Model 110 chambered in .243 and .308 Win. showed up the Fall of 1958.This rifle is part of that early run with a barrel date code of (11J). It is a fine hunting rifle set up with a period Weaver scope. Manufactured late 1958. .308 Winchester
