Here is a seldom-seen and pre-ban Federal Ordnance M14A chambered in 7.62x51 NATO. Manufactured from 1986 to 1991, the Federal Ordnance M14A rifles were comprised of newly manufactured M14 civilian receivers and refinished original M14 components. This particular M14A features a 24" Springfield barrel, H&R subcontracted bolt, H&R trigger assembly, H&R op rod, fiberglass top handguard, and an original M14 walnut stock. The metal components are in great overall condition and do show slight signs of handling and wear. Both the M14 walnut stock and fibergalss top handguard are in great condition and show no signs of cracks, just various light handling marks. The walnut stock does show a couple repair/fill-in spots where the stock was cut out originally for full-auto components. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and shows no signs of pitting or corrosion. All mechanical aspects of this rifle function 100%.
