Description:
A must-have for any Winchester repeating arms collector. Exceedingly rare indianhead exhibit Target shot out by Winchester repeating arms shooter C. L. Booker known as Lauren Booker. The plaque reads.

The Indian Head
By: C.L. Booker (1907-1986)
Lauren Booker first learned to draw the Indian Head in his mind. Next he learn to shoot a straight line. Bullets were spaced about 1 inch apart. Then he practice shooting the arch at a distance of 8 to 10 ft.. he shot the Indian head with a 22 semi-automatic Winchester rifle. It took him 4 minutes in rapid shooting. Using no outline he guided his gun with his left hand. He didn't use sites, shooting right off the end of the barrel. He was able to travel the country showing his special skill to thousands of people.

This piece of artwork has hung proudly above my collection of Winchester repeating arms for over 15 years now. A great conversation piece and a great addition to any Winchester collectors collection.
