Date of manufacture 1971 twenty eight inch vent rib bbl modified choke. Typical gun from Ct probably bought and used on a couple of pheasant hunts. Only marks on this gun are from putting it back in the closet. I seriously doubt that this gun has fired a box of shells. Not even a white line on barrel from recoil. Where I come from if you were working class and made it to belgium browning you made it to the top. All gold on trigger blue I rate at 99% wood 97%. I judge them very hard. Collector quality or for some young fella that wants a 16 like Dad had. This gun is a sound investment. If you"re familiar with Brownings you know the 71 guns are flat knob stocks.
