Up for sale is a very nice Colt SSA 1nd Gen. this Colt is chambered in 38-40 WCF The barrel is 4 ¾ inches long. There are two small spots of light pitting one spot on the left side on the frame behind the cylinder ant the other on the left side of the barrel. I would rate the bore a 7 out of 10. Some very light pits. The rifling is proud and sharp. The stocks are in very good condition with a few nicks, nothing major. This has a very interesting story behind it and the factory letter backs it up. Who ever said money can’t buy happiness doesn’t know where to shop.
