Description:
This Ansley H. Fox was manufactured by Savage Arms in Utica, New York circa 1930. It is in very good over all condition and would make an excellent game gun. It weights in at 7 pounds 4 ounces but, feels much lighter as it is a very well-balanced and lively gun. The bores measure .730" with choke restrictions of .005" Right and .015" Left. The Chambers measure 3" and show signs of honing. Wall thickness is very good on the Chromox Fluid Compressed Steel Barrels. Lock-up is nice and tight on the faces with the lever still slightly to the right. There is just enough color from the Case Hardening left to make this a very attractive gun and blends nicely with the engraving. 12 Gauge
