English two piece stock blank with loads of dark mineral lines and beautiful straight grain throughou. This is a very solid and dense blank that will take and hold very fine line checkering or carving. It has a nice dark honey color and the photos were taken with only a very light coat of Johnson's floor paste wax. At 2 1/2 thick, it will fit a cheekpiece easily. The size is 20" long x 7" x 3". The forend is 2 3/4 x 3 x 215" long. This blank was cut in the early 1990's and has been carefully stored ever since in San Diego,Calif. Moisture content is 11% and it is ready to work. Some photos are with a flash and look lighter. This is going to make you a superb shotgun or high grade single shot rifle stock.
