Colt Model 1895 Double Action Revolver purchased and delivered to United States Navy in May of 1898. Serial number is in the 95,000 range factory letter from Colt verifying its configuration. Still shows quite a bit of original blue in the protected areas as well as original fire blue on the screws, trigger, and hamer. Action works in both double and single action modes. Very Good Bore. Nice example of a Colt Navy DA used in the Spanish American War either by sailors aboard a ship or by the US Marines. Antique, No FFL required under Federal Law. State and Local laws may vary.
