Description:
***SOLD*** DWM Artillery Luger 9mm semi automatic pistol, dated to 1917. This Luger is the legendary and rare Artillery model, which was designed to be used with a detachable shoulder stock as both a secondary and primary weapon system for specific units. The pistol features the iconic Luger toggle mechanism, with a lengthy barrel and tangest style sights, ideal for use with the original stock it would have come with (a stock is not included with this pistol). The pistol is in excellent overall condition with some signs of light ageing and use, with very minimal finish wear and very shallow pitting along the barrel, as shown in the photos. The trigger plate appears to have changed color over the years, and looks like it make have been bent a small bit at some point, as shown in the photos. The action is not affected by this whatsoever. The action is smooth and the bore looks to be in excellent shape. The magazine included is the correct wood-base magazine, with matching serial number to the gun, which is incredibly rare. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase. A must have for WWII small arms collectors, don't miss this one! C&R OK.
