This is a one-of-a-kind Norinco EM355, which was the semi-auto version of the Chinese Type 81. There were only three prototypes in .223 produced by Norinco for BATF approval. A full stock version, a side folder and an underfolder - this is the full stock version. The mass production was never started on these rifles and they were imported without magazines, so the Model 84 mag was modified to work with the EM355. These rifles came through the collection of David Keng, who was close friends with the importer for Norinco, and we have copies of the correspondence from seller to seller over the years. This particular rifle is in near-mint condition with hardly any bluing loss. Minty bore, too. Comes with sling and cleaning rod. FFL required.
