Description:
SOLD PENDING FUNDS: Colt 1st Series Woodsman Sport Pistol in .22 LR caliber with a 4.5" barrel. This was manufactured in 1946 and is rated at 99% original condition with Box/papers and cleaning brush. The bore is mirror bright and the mechanics work perfectly. The grips are free of cracks or blemishes and the left hand grip has a diamond shaped silver plaque with the initials "EBG" inlayed into the grip. Some further research might be worthwhile. The papers included are the manual and shooting suggestions pamphlet. The box is numbered to the gun and has a Belknap HDW. MFG. CO. Louisville, KY label. This is a very early post war gun and would make a great addition to any fine firearms collection. Please see my other listings for additional collectable firearms.
