"Serial number 73540. Made in 1882. 45 LC with a 7 ½" barrel. Metal has an even gray patina. Grips are very good as showing wear. Action works well. Accompanying this gun is a letter from noted Colt expert John Kopec. Mr. Kopec says this gun as most likely issued to the State of Michigan. Mr. Kopec says both the barrel and the Ejector housing are replacements.
