"Serial Number 35287. Made in 1877. 45 LC with a 7 ½" barrel. Metal has a dark patina with light pitting throughout. Grips are original Colt grips that are replacements to this gun. This is a John T. Cleveland inspected. Cleveland was one of the main inspectors, but he did fewer guns than Ainsworth, David F. Clark and Ronaldo Carr. This gun comes with a letter from noted Colt expert John Kopec. Kopec notes the alterations already mentioned along with minor small parts. Very good gun with letter Authentication letter from John Kopec!
