For sale is a fully transferable C&R MP40 submachine gun manufactured by FXO41 (CG Haenel).
This is an all original German WWII submachine gun. Not a tube gun. The gun is not a reactivated DEWAT and probably amnesty registered in 1968. This MP40 has not been refurbished or refinished, nor pieced together.
CG Haenel produced the smallest number of MP40s with Steyr being the most common, then Erma. This MP40 was manufactured in 1941, only a year before CG Haenel ceased production of them in 1942.
Most of the blued finish on the receiver remains, but some finish is starting to turn color. The bore is very good. The Bakelite grips show some wear.
The barrel resting bar is missing that is not unusual.
The MP40 comes with two original German WWII magazines with. The magazines show some pitting but are fully functional.
