South American carved wooden cowboy stirrups known as "estribos". Each stirrups is hand carved from a solid block of wood with incredible detail. This particular pair is very ornate with a floral and geometric South American design and iron straps. These stirrups are from the 18th or 19th century and are possibly Chile or Brazilian in origin.
