WW1 FRENCH BERTHIER MODEL 1916 8MM LEBEL CAL. MUSKETOON (CARBINE). 18” barrel. Cavalry carbine that saw extensive use in WW1. All original and matching except bolt. Stock serial numbered to gun as well. Very good overall with most of the arsenal blue. Stock and handguard refinished but markings including the circular cartouche on right butt still visible.
