Description:
Model 1861 Prvidence Tool Co. rifled musket in overall very good Cond. Stock is sound and solid and not refinished with light cartouche on left flat. Barrel is mostly smooth with good vp and eagle head but tang date is not clear due to pitting in bolster area. Lock plate has clear eagle motif and maker markings and 1864 date. Bore is dark and worn with only faint rifeling. Gun is 100% original. A good looking Civil War musket at a good price.
