Custom M70 Winchester action fitted with custom 23 ½” barrel and chambered in 300 Weatherby Magnum. Jeweled bolt and follower, checkered bolt release, checkered bolt knob. Factory M70 bottom metal with contoured trigger guard. Redfield single piece base and rings with Redfield 2-7 scope. Duplex reticle.
Stocked by Stegall with a beautiful piece of Tessier French Walnut. Classic style with double shadow left hand cheekpiece. (Cheekpiece could be removed making a classic stock.) Point pattern checkering that wraps around the forearm and over the grip top with silver diamond in the forend. Vacant silver oval in bottom of buttstock. Two screw checkered steel pistol grip cap. Sling eyes on stock. 13 7/8” LOP over a checkered steel Neidner style buttplate. Weight 8 lbs 14 oz.
Overall VG to excellent condition with some light handling marks on stock. Rifle appears to have had little use. 3 day non firing, non disassembly inspection. Includes one box of factory Weatherby ammunition. Ships in hard plastic case.
