For your consideration, a GWACS Armory CAV-15 Mk II chambered in .458 SO This rifle is built off of a lightweight, polymer lower receiver. Unlike most polymer lowers, which simply recreate the dimensions of a conventional unit in materials for which the design was not intended to function, the CAV-15 is designed with the characteristics of its polymer construction in mind. Originally pioneered by Cavalry Manufacturing and now popularized by firearms scholar Ian McCollum's "What Would Stoner Do" project, this lower type is not to be underestimated. Paired with a big bore upper, this piece is a capable build indeed. .450 Bushmaster
