Description:
This International Harvester Model U.S. Rifle M1 Garand is a right hand semi-auto U.S. Military rifle in .30-06 Sprg. Cal. It has a 24 inch barrel. A blade front sight with protective sides and an adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a smooth grip hardwood pistol grip. The stock in excellent with few handling marks. The forearm is a smooth grip two piece hardwood. Receiver Serial Number 4535555 (1953). The barrel is stamped LMR 53. LMR barrels were supplied to H&R and IHC. Many consider LMR barrels to be high quality. .30-06 Springfield
