WWI era 1911. Made in 1917 and meant for the 2nd Naval District, Rhode Island. Professionally marked with ""H.D. Bassett"" on the right side of the frame. This serial series of pistols were originally sold to military organizations and military Officers. The bore is very good with frosting in the grooves. Has 85% of its original blue mixed with some patina. Has a two-tone magazine. An excellent example!
