Description:
"Made circa 1840. 34 caliber with a 37" barrel. Barrel has a brownish gray patina. This gun has a Joseph Goulcher lock. Action works perfectly with the set trigger. The stock is very attractive with a very fine patchbox This indicates it was made in Virginia. There is a second smaller patchbox on the left hand side below the check piece. There has been a repair to the stock 22" from the muzzle. Very attractive Percussion Kentucky Rifle!
