Authentic Gourd Canteen
The perfect historically correct gourd canteen features genuine rawhide reinforcement. Includes a rope carrying strap. Each gourd canteen water bottle is hand-made in the U.S.A. - supply is limited! The Canteen measures approximately 8” to 8 1/2” in diameter. and has no spout just like the original native made canteens. That allows them to be completely drain so that they remain fresh. These vessels are double-coated on the inside with paraffin wax. The outside of the canteen is cinched with a rawhide band. A corn Cobb stopper is waxed and fit to the mouth of the canteen.
