Description:
US made M1891 rifle, built by New England Westinghouse under contract for the Russian military 7.62x54R, 5 round fixed magazine. This rifle has a SA Finland Army capture mark which adds to its history. Originally ordered by Imperial Russia in 1915 and delivered to Russia just before the Revolution of 1917. Served in WWI with Russian Imperial Army and later served in WWII on a Finland Front where it got captured and reissued by Finland Army. This is an interesting rifle with lots of history and over 100 years old. 7.62x54R
