Description:
This 1860 Army shows some nice character and to say the least; been there, done that. There are some Martial inspectors marks present which signifies it’s time spent issued in the Civil War. After that, it’s surely taken a different path, likely west. Dealer nickel plated with checkered ivory grips added at some time. Most of the period nickel remains, approximately 75-80%. The serial number on the cylinder can not be read, although other numbers match. The ivory grips show shrinkage and chips. Mechanically excellent. This is a nice time capsule of what used to be and what some soldiers did to their guns while going out west after the Civil War. Shipping is $25 plus actual insurance.
