S&W Model 64. SN# 1D56912. Made in 1977 Up for sale is a very clean Smith & Wesson Model 64. This clean revolver carries a 2" barrel and is also features oversized grips for great control. This .38 special is very effective as this gun has killed two black bears that got too comfortable in camp. The revolver was first issued to a regional police dept. and is marked on the frame with letters "DPD41". I purchased the revolver from the PD in the late 80s and carried it in my hunting packing when legal. The cylinder lockup is very tight and timing is spot on. Please add 30.00 freight and insurance. No Calif. buyers please.
