This Marlin 1894 Cowboy Competition in .45 Long Colt has a 20 inch octagon barrel, with a 10 shot tubular magazine manufactured in North Haven CT and is marked "JM." The octagon barrel and magazine tube show no wear. The action retains all of its beautiful case hardened color, although there is one small ding on the right side of the receiver above the central screw. (See the picture 3.) The stock and fore end are in like new condition, showing no dings and scratches. This beautiful rifle is in overall excellent condition and appears like new. The action of this lever-action rifle is very smooth. The rifle comes with the original box, which is in great condition, but contains no papers. The sale includes a California compliant lock and an offset hammer spur for possible use with a rifle scope.
